Electrical problem

Heres the story, yesterday i left my dome light on and it killed my battery. So after my shift i got a jump, but there was a problem with the cables and they were grounding out. So after getting another set the jump worked but the damage was done. Everything but my radio, clock display oh and the spedo doesnt work they are on fuse 11 and 6 in that order. I did notice that my theft light does not come on when i start my car. I'm guessing its all related to the anti theft system, can anyone help me?

Check and recheck the fuses. The ones in the kick panel inside and the box under the hood. If all is well disconnect the battery and see if it resets everything. I had a wierd problem with my auto locks engaging and wouldn't stop. It would run the battery down. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for 30 mintues. Reconnected it and the problem was gone. Aslo it wouldn't hurt to have the battery tested. If it is an older one you may have kicked it's life to the edge and causing your problems.
