Electrical problem ??

when i turn my headlights on at night the instrument panel blacks out and the radio does to, the wiper will not work and the turn signal blink real slow and both will blink on the indicators on the dash..... Anybody have any idea where i should start,, this is on an 89 convert lx thanks

Any of the major auto parts stores can check your charging system for free to see if the alternator and battery are working correctly.
