Electrical problems? Cd player/door locks.....

I bought a 91 lx 5.0, it had no cd player or tape player so I bought a aftermarket pioneer and installed it. No sound? powers up fine though, Pulled all speakers to check connection and fine there, all fuses are fine, it does not even have the premium system also my door locks do not work either and like i said all fuses are fine? Any help please?

hmm, that is odd. do you have another stereo you can install temporarily to verify your new one is working. i have bought new equipment with dead outputs before.

well i did hook a speaker directly up to see if that was the problem and it worked fine?

hmm made sure you hooked it up correctly using the factory harness? Hell, i took mine and used the wire that ran from the speaker through the rubber to the kick panel and cut and spliced in my own.. my wires were all crossed when i bought the car. I'd suggest the same for you also.
