Hey guys

I am not sure what's going on with my power windows. They are both brand new motors and I'm positive that that isn't the problem (plus you would hear if they were at least getting power to them). Both windows will not go down or up. The fuses are fine and my power door locks still work. Does anything have any idea what could be wrong or how I could fix them? Thanks!

You've probably already done this, but try to see if the passenger window will go down with the passenger switch. If it does, the driver's door switch is probably bad. Otherwise, use a multimeter to see if the motors are getting power to them. Also, there's a connector in the rear of the driver's door that must be connected for the window to go down. I think it has to do with the express down module. Make sure that's connected also.

Yes, that's the first thing I tried. Neither side's window buttons make the window go down. Thanks for suggesting the multimeter, I will try that tonight.

now now now... dont be mad...

We are thinking it could be related to her aftermarket alarm... as her remote start doesnt work now either....and apparantly the windows are tied into that as well... even though she requested them to not be. Could possibly be a plug and play module... but I doubt it. Looks like it will be fun with wiring here pretty soon. Too bad she wont let me work on it...

You can work on it as long as you show me what you're doing so that I learn!

UPDATE:
My airbag light is now permanently stuck on? Does anyone know what that could mean? We used the multimeter and there is power.

For the airbag light, does it flash when you put the key in the on position? It'll repeat the sequence twice, for instance, 3 flashes, pause, 2 flashes, pause, repeat one more time. Count the flashes and we'll try to help.
As for the motor, I don't know how they're grounded, whether they're case grounded or remote grounded, but it sounds like a bad ground to me.

The 52 code just means that the battery was disconnected. Here's a site that might help: http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/airBag/airBag95.html
Follow the page towards the bottom to find out how to clear the code.
