electrical problems

I really hope someone is good with electrical for this question. I have a 1987 ford mustang and my electrical problem is with my hazard switch. when I bought the car, none of the wires were connected the connectors. so I am left with colored wires and I need to find out what wires go in what letter on the connector. I was able to find a paper on a 92 mustang's wiring but it might be different because the colors were a little off. does anyone have a wiring diagram to what color wire goes to what letter on the connector. not having this hazard switch working is causing me not to have blinkers so I want to try to fix it. to fix the problem it looks like the wires are having problems staying in the connector. Should I go in there, splice the wires or is there a kit to buy to put all new wires in. What should I do. please help

Its pretty simple...the two feed positions with two wire colors going in are actually the turn signal feeds..the orange and yellow wire feeds power to the multifunction switch on column...the light blue wire is power coming into hazard switch from fuse panel (only hot when ignition is on) the light blue and red wire is to feed the actual backlight in the switch the black is to ground the light in the switch. the whit eand red wire feed is power coming from fuse panel for hazard power...this should be hot when key is on or off.... I just finished replacing all custom wiring kit in a 90 mustang and had to figure out how to use factory switches int he kit sense most universal kits all use GM style plugs...
