I have a 66 gt conv. When I start the car the gauges work for about 10 seconds and then go dead. If I turn the motor off and just turn the key on they will work for a few seconds and go dead. Is this a key switch problem, maybe ground problem? Need help. Thanks

It could be a grounding issue, but it doesn't sound like it. It almost sounds like you are pushing too many amps and tripping a breaker or something. Sorry, I'm not much help-I hate electrical problems! They are the bane of my existence! Maybe someone else can chime in and help a little. Could you tell us what has brought this problem on? Did you install new gauges, change anything in the wiring circuits, re-installing during a resto, etc? That may help someone help you troubleshoot the issue and get you moving in the right direction. Good luck!!
