I have had a electrical problem since I have bought the car. I pulled apart the entire dash to get to the wires. I could see the wires were burnt out it is only about 6 inches needs to be replaced. I was wondering on how to get the wires out of the fuse box holders. So I can replace the wires. Also what gauge wire should I use? Once I get this electrical problem fixed it goes on the road.

you should be able to push a small tab from the front that clips outward and holds the little things from going backwards in the holes... after you bent those in they should slide out easily. replace with same gauge wire. find out WHY they burned up. things just dont burn for a reason... there was a short or something wrong with the circuit and the wire got hot... theres nothing high amperage under the dash that should burn up like that. I'd inspect everything for some hodge-podge wiring patch that a previous owner might have done...

i looked around for a reason why they burnt up and the only reasons i could come up with is the previous owner said he replaced the voltage reuglator, alternator and he said the time the voltage regulator went the tail lights didn't work. Another reason I think might of been the reason was a aftermarket radio the guy had in it since its a common ground system he might of put a radio reqireing more power thought the wires then they handle.
