- Doing a ground up restore
- Did a decent job of labeling and taking pictures beforehand
- Installed a PA Performance Alternator, Mark VIII fan, and Delta Control Controller.
- Putting the car back together now
As I'm wiring up the starter solenoid, I've made an observation that I'd like help in understanding.
Using a continuity tester...
I'm wiring up the pre-existing wires, I'm finding that the wires going to the key-on/hot post of the solenoid have no continuity to the ground/chassis.
As I include alternator, starter, and DC Controller, I'm showing some continuity exists.
Does this mean there is a problem ?
If yes, how would you suggest I diagnose root cause ?
If not, a brief description of my findings would be appreciated.
TIA.
