What are your opinions about products such as these? http://www.ruststopnorthamerica.com/ruststop-kit.htm#RustStop%20RS-4 The basic concept seems sound to me and it's similar in practice to the passive anodes that you find on saltwater boats. It's supposed to keep everything on the chassis down to the last nut and bolt from rusting, which is more than can be said about Zeibart and the other similar products the dealer pushes on you at the time of purchase.

I don't believe that it will prevent rust from occurring. I think it's just a scam.

Alright, here's another product, http://counteractrust.com/ This product pretty much uses the opposite process to the 1 I linked in my first post. Both also more or less rip on the other's design in their sales pitch. I will say that the Counteract product was referenced to me by a co-worker who is into the muscle and classic car scene and says he sees Counteract product on a lot of cars at shows, cruise-ins, etc... On one hand, I understand what they're saying with regards to the chemistry part (I did have some upper level college chem back in the day) and do see how it could work, but on the other hand, if this type of product really worked, wouldn't it be at least an option on higher end cars like Mercs, Bimmers, etc...? Anyways, I think I'm going to go for it. If I do, I'll take some good pics of the underside of my car (1 week old as of today) and then try to remember to re-visit this topic down the road, maybe in 6 months or a year with some before and after pics. Anyways, I'll give this topic another week for you guys to either talk me into it or talk me out of it before I buy anything.
