I would like to invite you folks to the most meaningful and moving event I was privileged to participate in last year. On Dec 16, Family Fun Rods & Customs Car Club is hosting their yearly Christmas Toy Drive to Emanuel Hospital. We will stage at Portland Meadow at 11:00 and we will depart at 12:00 with a full police escort to Emanuel Hospital. We need to bring unwrapped toys for boys and girls age infant to 18 year olds. You can bring CD players, games, barbie dolls, stuffed animals, etc. You could also pick up necessities for mom and dad also, like bubble bath, shaving and hygiene items, slippers, bath robes, etc. These kids are sick and some may not see another Christmas. Mom and Dad dont have time to even buy things for each other let alone for themselves. When we get to the hospital, the gifts are piled under a huge tree and then people take the gifts up to the kids rooms. Last year we had around 20 total Mustangs. We had a total of 85 cars. This year I hope to have 50 or 60 Mustangs (but all cars are welcome)and over 120 cars total. My challenge to all of you is to open your hearts this year and come join us make a difference in a childs life and give joy to the parents. Dave Webster - President - Mustang Wranglers of Oregon

My Dad and I will be there in my 7-up. I rounded up a few people at work to chip in too, my sleigh has a full trunk :nice:

I spent about $25.00 at toys-r-us and got two gifts, but even if you're broke a .99 cent jump rope or a book would be more meaningful than you might think to a kid. Or, a $4.99 bottle of shampoo to a mom or dad. What could be better than running red lights with the police watching and that toy in your back seat or trunk is your get out of jail free card!! Plus you get to see a ton of nice cars!

There's still time to get something if you haven't yet, this doesn't start until 11:00, and there's a GI Joe's just 2 blocks away.

I don't know the official numbers but I did hear someone say there were 41 mustangs there, and I would guess around 80-90 cars total.

Nice work to all those who participated and thank you to all those who coordinated the event.
