I would like to invite you folks to the most meaningful and moving event I was privileged to participate in last year. On Dec 16, Family Fun Rods & Customs Car Club is hosting their yearly Christmas Toy Drive to Emanuel Hospital. We will stage at Portland Meadow at 11:00 and we will depart at 12:00 with a full police escort to Emanuel Hospital. We need to bring unwrapped toys for boys and girls age infant to 18 year olds. You can bring CD players, games, barbie dolls, stuffed animals, etc. You could also pick up necessities for mom and dad also, like bubble bath, shaving and hygiene items, slippers, bath robes, etc. These kids are sick and some may not see another Christmas. Mom and Dad dont have time to even buy things for each other let alone for themselves. When we get to the hospital, the gifts are piled under a huge tree and then people take the gifts up to the kids rooms. Last year we had around 20 total Mustangs. We had a total of 85 cars. This year I hope to have 50 or 60 Mustangs (but all cars are welcome)and over 120 cars total.
