I recently changed the rear pads on my 95 GT and in doing so removed the tension spring for the emergency brake. Does anyone know if a tool exists for putting that spring back on? I've tried vice gribs to compress it, but that hasn't worked yet. Any suggestions?
no lie, when I was doing my rear 13" conversion, I accidently shot one of those springs off the caliper and across the garage, trying to pry out the Pbrake cable. Messed with it for about an hour calmly and about a half hour more working myself into a rage..lol, then got in the 'ol Xploder, went to Oriellys, spent $42 on new caliper. no lie.
