emissions testing and mils please help

Can you swap the factory pipe back on for the test? I'm not sure if you'd pass or not.. depends I guess on how well the cats on the bassani pipe actually work compared to the stocker.

I'd say if you want to be 100% sure to pass, throw the stock pipe on.. but the bes thing to do is just have it tested and see how you do.. worst case, throw stock back on.

Good luck!

well depends where you are at. the bassani cats are top notch. the mils would only save you if the check emissions based on the cel and codes etc. but, if they use a sniffer etc, you might be in trouble if they are really strict.

I dont think you would pass because the cats are what are going to do the job as far as emissions. MIL eliminators are only going to keep you light from coming on because the cats arent there to do their job.

The MIL's eliminate any codes referring to your O2 sensors...if your car is ~98 or newer (I forget when it first started...) emissions may not use the sniffer. I know in MD they plug the maching into my car computer (OBD2). I will pass fine with an O/R H pipe and MIL's
