emissions?

OK i'm new hear and was wundering if any of the other cali guys knew any tricks to passing emissions as i want to do a patriot head swap with cams in about 2 months thanks

make sure you car is nice and warm when you bring it in, put the stock h pipe back in. Also, i use a fuel adidtive just in case called Soltron before i fill up my car w/ regular gas - it cuts down slightly on emmsions. I have yet to fail - but i have stock internals

with the stock H-pipe and working stock cats you should still pass. the biggest difference maker in tests ive seen has been the Hpipe, even aftermarket catted midpipes fail the sniffer.

derfinately run the stock H-Pipe, what cams did you go with? i am planning on building a fairly agggressive N/A motor and would love to see your test results.

Im not sure, but I dont think anything above a stage 2 will pass emissions...here in crazy anal cali.

i plan on running VT stage 2 NA cams with ported heads with the combo im throwing together. hopefull with the stock cats i should be able to get by.

well i know for sure that any stg 1 cam will pass but stg 2's never really heard of people running them out here but it would be nice to know
