Have a block that is supposed to be out of an 87 LX mustang.
I can make out the E7TE on the block behind the starter.

(which I know the E stand for 80's and the "7" means it's an 87 block... "T" means truck and "E" means engine category)

I also remember reading in the archives about a number behind the intake that you also need. This number is very faint:
KF 269172

Is this from a Mustang?
I don't think you can specifically go by the E7TE number. I think the KF stand for year and plant number. From what I could get from the archives I think "K" is year 89 and "F" is the Dearborn plant. Is this right? If so, where Mustangs only made in this plant?
