1993 mustang LX 5.0 5spd

Hey guys, noob here i plan on using the search feature but wanted to start a thread to record progress with the issue and advice.

When you first start the car it runs and idles fine, as long at the car hasnt reached operating temperature it will run clean with no cutting out. Once the engine gets warm it will start to cut out at 1500rpm and continue as the rpm's rise constantly cutting out while accelerating.

First time mustang owner, just traded my 72 chevy c10 for this car. Thanks fellas!

Thread moved to the correct forum. Will probably get you better results.

Right off the bat, I'll ask when the car had it's last tune up? Sounds ignition related to me. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor would be a good start. Have you run it for any codes yet?

Do a forum search on how to pull codes with a paper clip.

Off the top of my head, TFI module.

Likely the tfi as suggested, could also be the coil.

Use only real ford parts to replace either one.
