Engine Ignorance

Sorry if this is an ignorant question but I'm definitely a noob to the wonderful world of engines. I have a lot of questions but I'll start with this one.

Say I have a stock 302 and wanted to upgrade my cylinder heads. Could I just get a pair of GT-40s and strap em' on or will there be mods required?

i believe you need to valves, springs and such. someone smarter will reply tho

yes, if they come with valves and springs. you'll also need all the required gaskets (head, intake, and valve cover).
