Engine lift points

I am changing the oil pan on my 95 GT and the lifting hooks that come on the stock exhaust manifold bolts are gone. . where else can i lift the motor from with out messing with the old rusty manifold bolts. Thanks.

You can throw a bolt in the rear passenger side head and pull the p/s bracket off and throw a bolt in there on the driver side.

I think moroso makes an EFI lift plate that bolts to the lower manifold too...

I wrapped seat belt webbing around the exhaust manifolds in an "X" pattern: one belt end is tied to the passenger rear manifold tube (cylinder 4), and the other end to the driver's front manifold tube (cylinder 5). I take another belt to the passenger front tube (cylinder 1) and the other end to the driver's rear tube (cylinder 8). I tied a double knot and left very little slack. Worked great for three engines with all accessories, and even re-used the seat belt webbing once.

Seat belt webbing is STRONG.
