Engine Mod

Ok Sorta blew my engine and it is at a machine shop as we speak.As of right now they think i got a spun bearing and I may have threw a rod.too soon to tell.My question is.....Since my engine is out of the car and they are going to take it all apart anyways,what other mods should i do?Forged internals etc.,etc.......Oh and its a 99 cobra.I got about 4k to put into it.

Yeah i blew my 01 Cobra motor up i orderd a 5.1 pro street shortblock n a new used head with stocks cams since its out im gonna get Long tube headers n new shorty X,a new clutch,prob fuel system from 03 cobra,n last but not least i got a procharger P1sc itll be a whole diff car
