engine performance problem

Lastnight on the way home my car started to run like crap. When I got home I opened my hood hood while car was running and I noticed one of my header tubes was glowing red the plug wire was arking on the header also. That was the only tube that was glowing. What could cause that. HELP

Replace the spark plug wire that was sparking to the header first and see if your glowing header goes away. My bet is that it will.

The wires are new. I do have an exhaust leak coming from that side. Talked to few other people and they said that the exhaust leak could cause it to glow red also. So I will fix the leak first and see what happens. As soon as I get a chance

New or not, if a wire is arcing, there is something wrong with it or the way it is connected. Fix that and your leak and you'll probably be fine. Although I've never heard of a leak causing that kind of problem.
