well i was lookin on summit at rotating assemblies to rebuild my engine next year. what is the rod length for a stock 88 gt?? whats the Actual Engine CID (des)?? i was thinkin thi would be a decsent kit $879.95

5.09" is the stock length, stock cubic inches is a 302.

What are your intentions with the motor?

rebuild it so its nice and it has a littemore power but not like a drag engine just so its nice.

To use those 306cu. in. pistons your 302 cylinder walls will need to be bored .030 over to get a fresh cylinder wall. There isn't much power to be gained by this at all but it gives you a fresh wall for your rings and pistons to travel well together

Yeah but that .030 extra bore will allow for him to go with a 331 stroker motor with some modifications for relatively inexpensive. If your going to get it bored, may as well set it up for that.
