engine rebuild

i was going to get the engine rebuilt in my car and was wondering if 1400 dollars sounde like a good price or should i go with 2500 for a remanufactured engine

Depends on what your getting for a rebuild. need some more info.

What does that include? Are you pulling it yourself and having it built? What does the rebuild consist of, ie. machine work? valves? any new parts?
