My 98 Cobra has developed a problem. Almost every time my engine revs past 3000 rpm, the rpms stay up over 2000 when I let off the accelerator and engage clutch. I have to tap the accelarator (up to 3 or 4 k) to get it to come back down to idle. Any ideas?

Thanks

sounds to me like the idle control valve. mine does it once in a while and i had it pop that code on me once. i would check for codes and/or change idle control valve.

Thanks, I'll try that today. I replaced the TPS, to no avail.
