hey guys, im having a problem with the stang. first of all, it stalls all the time when first starting up. i have to start it 2 or 3 times before its ready to go. then while im just cruising around giving it minimum gas, the engine stutters and gets choppy likes its gasping for air or something. but when i get on the accelerator, its seems fine. my first thought was plugs, but i replaced them under a year ago. some other stuff i was thinking were plug wires or maybe some dirty fuel injectors, i really dont know  . if anyone could point me in the right direction id be greatly appreciative. thanks.

YEAH! mine does the exact same thing sometimes.... and it makes a weird sound under the car... I have no idea what it is... I replaced my plugs less than a year ago also... I still have stock wires tho... I might change those to see if that helps...

44k is basicly the same stuff a shop runs through ur engine to clean the fuel system, it a consentrat u add to ur gas it it cleans the fuel system. the tfi moduel is what the wire harrness clips on to ur distribitor at. there only like two 5.5mm screws holding it on and it only costs like $20, had mine replaced but didnt even pay attention to how much it cost, but that is another idea of y u r car is stittering

i replaced the tfi module and theres no difference. car still stutters during normal driving sometimes and dies after being started. i really dont know where to go from here. a guy at advanced auto told me to try the fuel filter, so im going to try to replace that tomorrow. any other suggestions?

finally fixed the problem. i pulled off the iac and there was carbon all over it. cleand it out pretty thoroughly and cleanded the throttle body and now it goes right to idle when i start it up :D . thanks for all your help guys.
