Engine swap question?

I've got a 96 gt i want to put a 302 in it ,i just bought a 95 k member with control arms and springs,my question is to make this work will a 95 gt wiring harness be a direct plug in or will i need to make it work,and is there anything else that might throw a wrench in the process.:SNSign:

I'm sure danny will chime in. You shouldn't have to many problems just change the comp harness. I think you might have to change your fuel lines running to your tank.

my main concern is the harness issue ,will it directly plug in or will i have to change the inside harness aswell.

It will not plug in. It takes alot of modification to get it done. You have to run a change some pin programming, swap to a different computer, change a few connectors, and add a few sensors. It also requires an exciter ring to be installed on the balancer. Its not a simple drop in swap.

Its not that hard since its a 5.0 dont use the stock wires to make it easier on you get a sn95 donor car and get the whole setup and put in the 96 then it would be plug and play
