I have a 1987 stock Mustang GT. I am replacing the original (250,000 mile) motor with a low miles original stock 1989 5.0 engine. I do not have the money to buy a MAF conversion and I know 1989 had them. Will I be able to drop this engine in and run it normally on the 1987's Speed density computer?

Yup. The engines are the same.

yes the mechanical parts of the engines are the same. Just hook the electronics up the same as the 87 motor

Yes, the engine doesn't determine if MAF or not..the electronics on it do.

So drop it in and just reuse all your 1987 stuff...just change the iron
