Why not go down on a Sat. test and tune session? They are having one on the 23rd, and I would be in for that one.

Im not working this weds and I just want some more track time. Im off on the 23ed so Im deff up for going down then if we can get a few people to go down. There is no guarantee it wont be raining on the 23ed so I want to go down while I have the chance even if it is on a reg street night.

You going on Sat.? I can never tell when I will get out of work during the week. This past friday was the worst day of the week. I didn't punch out till just after 8pm and I wasn't the only one.
Still haven't picked up any sticky tires. Haven't done much with the stang this summer.

so anyone here get to make it down? I had a pretty good time. Talked most of the time w/ a guy from RI w/ a Stang and some kid w/ a Z28 that came up to me after my last run, we had just raced but he wanted to congratulate me on the win pretty decent F-body owner there. I ran a new best ET and MPH ( see bottom of sig ) and racked up a few more kills

1. SVT Focus ( nothing big but damn was that slow)

2. Z28 Camaro 98-02

3. EVO ( I was happy about this one, Mistu what ? )

4. GTO New model. ( 5.7 Liter what ? )

yeah pretty much, not sure if its b/c Im still new at the whole track thing or not but the best 60' I cut last night was a 2.153 and my worst being a 2.395. Odd thing is that when ever Im in the left hand lane I never cut anything below a 2.3, anytime in the right hand lane I always seem to cut a 2.2 or a 2.1 I dont like the left hand lane, I dont know if its in my head or what but I always try to get in the right hand lane I just seem to run better on that side. I should be able to cut a sub 2.0 w/ the nittos, I toasted the hell out of them a few times but just cant get below a 2.1, maybe I just need more pratice at launching or maybe the prep sucked last night. Prob a combo of both.

Yea, even though many people think the track sucks, it isn't that bad to hook on. I was cutting 2.0x 60's one night on my stock 245 prodigy street tires. Suprised even me. What psi are you running the nittos?

I was running at 20 PSI for awhile then went down to 18 PSI and ran the 13.4 at 107. That was my best time I ran 2 more times after that but ran 13.6's

I was there and the track was great as usual.. the problem is between the seat and the steering wheel lol j/k
I was running one of those new V6 altima's, bone stock.. ran a 14.74 (shifted nice) and a 14.66 (powershifted) with 2.2x 60' both runs... open diff and a 5 gear. Guess they arent all that slow!

Thats still about what you should be running on street tires, you cant be real upset at that are you?

I ran 13.1's all day long at 106-109 with my powerdyne at 318 rwhp, ran the stock pony wheels with 245 regular ass goodyears.

I was there also, running my black 92 GT
There were a crapload of foxes there but someone might've saw me here.
Could not hook for crap on my ET Streets
1. Because they're old as dirt and need to be buried in the dirt.
2. Jackasses were driving THROUGH the water box... and also doing their burnout IN IT...
3. Don't think there was a 3, But ya need a third excuse if you start numbering them.

And about the right/left lane ordeal.
Yes the right lane actually IS better.
People rent out the track earlier on in the day and use that side.
So it's prepped earlier on.

And best I could muster off the juice was a 13 flat @ 109
Was cutting 2.0/2.1 60's
But normally cut low 1.7-1.6's on those tires.
But, need new tires and I'll go back up there and break 11's like I'm supposed to.

yeah my Best MPH was a 109 but I only musterd a 13.4 out of it and my best 60' was also a 2.1. I should be able to get a sub 2.0 but track prep becomes a factor after while. I thought I was heating them up pretty well. Good 5-7 second burn outs.
