Equal length you will gain a little bit more HP. They are a little harder to install. The diff between the two is on the equal length all the pipes are the same length. I'll post a pics.

See how the pipe are different sizes to the collectors?

equal length

unequal length

changing the plugs with equal's on is a HUGE PAIN IN THE A$$.if i had realized this i would have went with the unequal or the long tubes.

Had just about every kind of header made. Stay away from equals. It's not worth the 1HP over the unequals. With generic 5.0 plug wires they do find away to melt. Spark plug changes are not easy.

I was thinking about buying equals soon, over my unequals. Both my friends have Mac Equals on their foxes and I always hear you guys talking about how hard the spark plug changes were so I went out on both of their cars and there is still a lot of room to get the sparkplugs out. Is there something about the way the 94/95 Equals are designed that make it so hard or something? I don't get it...

From What I can remember, Quite a few "hand burns" have been realized from changing plugs without the car being COMPLETELY COOLED DOWN before working. I just dont think 1-2 hp gain is worth it.

I have unequal's on mine and spark plug changes are pretty easy and I dont have any burnt wires as long as I keep them out of the way of the headers. A 1-2 HP gain is never worth it when an install or maintence becomes a major PITA.
