And now to consult the experts.

Took my 05 GT to a track day and had a few problems. After several laps the vehicle went into a limp home mode. After turning the engine off, inspecting for any noticable faults, and restarting, everything seemed to be functioning properly. Back out on the track, making sure not to over-rev, as I thought that might have been what caused the problem, it happened agian, same corner. This was a relatively high speed corner with a reverse camber, and I noted that someone else on this forum had a similar problem while cornering at high speed.

After shutting off and restarting, AGAIN, took it back out for a gentler cruise round the track and noted the engine warning lamp on. So that was it for the day.

Back home, I was able to download the faults with my Superchips programmer and the following faults showed: p2112 - Throttle Actuator Ctrl System - Stuck Closed, p2104 - Throttle Actuator Ctrl System - Forced Idle, P1000.

My vehicle is currently equipped with a K&N CAI and the Superchips performance program.

Essentially, I was just wondering if anyone has any helpfull advice to offer. I need to resolve this issue before a planned trip to the Nurburgring in Germany.

Thanks in advance.

I had the Fail-Safe Engine Mode come on 4 times and I took it to the dealership and they replaced the throttle body they say it caused it, you might have the same problem.

to see if it the throttle body take the snorkle off (engine off) have someone turn the key to the on position (but do not start) and press on the gas & see if the throttle body opens all the way. if it doesn't fully open it is bad.
