Ok, first off it is your car, make yourself happy, you won't find much love for euro taillights here and these members are really poking fun at you, well with the exception of one or two and they mean no harm and they think they are saving you from embarrassing yourself, and they likely have done some really embarrassing stuff to cars aready, I guarantee at least one has. so find yourself some taillights and if you can afford a jap motor swap that db thing would be killer!

Thank you for being one of the only positive people on this forum, I seem to be attracting the twats out of the woodwork haha. If "ricing" my Mustang pisses people off that bad, I'm gonna keep doing it, starting with Enkei 92s, Euro tail lights, might as well slap a Honda K-series in that bitch just to fume off the rest of these silly people lmao.

PS: Tokyo Drift is /half/ where I draw my build inspiration from, love how they put that RB26 in the old school 'Stang. I've seen clips of people sticking waaaaaay worse things on/in their Foxes, so if my own touches are THAT bad, then anyone who disagrees can write their opinion down on a piece of paper, fold it up, then shooooove it~

Man! You and this Treycot dude...you both should contact each other and go out for drinks....then you can both sit silently at the table looking at your phones while occasionally sharing IG pics.

If you two are the future of the hobby, I pray for mass transit.
What you do with your car is your business.
When you decide to post pics of it afterwards, don't expect anything more than what you are already getting. It's a "group" forum.
They have group forums so that people with similar likes and interests can share and learn from those who have done, and try to be one of those who can do.
When you decide to tell everyone that you are basically going to "piss into the wind" do not expect anybody to pat you on the head for doing it.

* Unless you join a forum where everybody pisses into the wind, then you'll be right at home.

Not sharing my opinion about what I think about the look, but I'd be weary about buying tail lights that cost less than those posted from eBay... $50 opening bid might very well do it for those, I don't think they are that hot of an item... but the "buy it now" price is probably the minimum I'd expect to pay for quality tail lights.

One thing I don't like about euro tail lights, without even considering aesthetics, is that most of those kits seem to be junk product... priced and built as cheap as absolutely possible to sell to every highschooler that has a car and a part time min wage job... they're only designed to last the final 15-20k miles of that poor 189k mile '91 Integra, while the last good bits of the unibody rot out.

I think both of them and a couple of others lately ARE THE SAME PERSON!!!!! "Hey, I've got 15k to spend on my car. I'd like to do a pair of 499mm turbos and some euro taillights....unless yall think those aren't big enough...the taillights that is."

Sorry OP....just having some humor at your expense.

I wish I had $15k to spend on this car lol. Found a local guy selling an LS swap for $250 and kinda thinking about it. JZ would be ing awesome! I appreciate everyone's tips and I apologize if I came off as an ass earlier to anyone. I appreciate the criticism when it's constructive and not just negative.

I think we all wish we had $15k to blow on a project car!! I know I do!!! lol

Like I said, see if you can't locate some older Mercury Capri tail lights - you don't see them every day! Honestly, that's what I've been thinking of with my GT - so if you look and find some but they're not your cup of tea, send a link my way!!

I think I'd be perfectly fine with a 2JZ swap.

But the euro taillights would have me punching babies

Why can't we stick with a ford in a ford kinda deal? JZ's LS swaps mah.
i can understand the 'dare to be different' mentality. Maybe I'm just sentimental or loyal

I think the LS swaps just come about due to the absolute bonkers amount of power you can get out of them for dirt cheap... and they have been swapped into everything now.

A 2JZ swap on the other hand... that is being unique for the sake of being unique IMO, though I suppose they are the LS of the JDM world.

Speaking of daring to be different.....

This Ford Mustang II Mach 1 Has a Turbo Nissan Silvia Engine

After multiple 302 swaps, the Nissan four-cylinder makes this Mustang lighter, quicker and better than ever.

I wish i had bought the Barra engine i found in the states for 2.5k shipped.......... oh i am an idiot for not jumping on that......

The ford barra is Ford of Australia's version of the 2JZ.... you can make 1k HP without even blinking.... The 2JZ is one helluva engine. I enjoy it when people want me to tune something that is not another V8... Like Mikes turbo I6.... that crazy setup was fairly easy to tune.

I would do a ford twin turbo v6
I think there is a pickup nearby with one but that guy keeps this vicious animal tied to it, he says it is a dog named 'buzsaw' but I think it is a hybrid alligator
