I went to 1/4 mile track for the first time and made 12 runs total.. about half of them were miss-shifted..

Mods:
bbk LT header
bbk catted X
magnapack
4.10/street stock tires
alum ds
eec reflashed
4000 miles on the car
93 octane
headlight removed
spare removed
front tires psi = 40
rear tires psi = 28
air silencer removed

car weights: 3363 (w/o spare and w/o me)
with me: 3530 (actual racing weight)

Best run (only run and broke into the 13)

R/T: .508
60': 2.201
330: 5.982
1/8: 9.056@80.15
1000: 11.696
1/4: 13.916@101.63

I'll scan the slip and post it on my site soon.

Other 7 runs were 14.0xx or 14.1xx Needless to say I'm happy that I broke into 13.xx

I think my mph is a little high... but I couldn't do much with 4.10 + street tires..

any comments concerning my ET?

I agree with tires and lower control arms to get the 60' lower. 2.2 is not bad but if you can get a 2.0 it will make a difference. I ran a 13.96@101.92with a 2.169 60ft and a 13.80@101.51 with a 2.0 60ft. Not much but a difference.

leave your suspension stock for now...i can cut low 2.0s without a lot of track prep on street tires.

Well my next mod would be full length subframe.. and As soon as I could sell my current wheels, I will have 18" rims on the car instead along with DR's.

for all of your mods I think that you should be running better. Unless you are at a high elevation track.

My 04' GT with K&N filter and BBK hiflow hpipe went 14.2 @ 98mph and this was at 2500ft elevation. The corrected times are somewhere in the 13.9 @ 100mph range.

elevation is only about 900ft in Kansas city.
on that run i raced an LT1 he beat me off the line by 4tenths but he only ran a 14.103 @ 98.18.
i was closing on him unbelieveably......... he still passed thru traps ahead of me by about a car.

Do you have an auto? How much power are you making? With your mods you should be running much stronger. I'd be pretty pissed to only barely crack 13s. You should be at least mid 13s. I ran 13.60s-70s with a bit less hp when it was still my wife's car with 1.9-2.0s. Get that 60 down first

time should be better.......if you missed shifts 6 times out of 12 runs.......I would recommend a shifter as your next mod.....

5 speed and yes i am mad. i am thinking 60ft time is the major prob.
if i take .4 off 60ft time does that mean i would take .4 off the big end.
someone told me i would lose mph if my 60ft drops.........so i would think it would not be .4 @ big end if i was not going same mph in same points in track.
i have beat a lightning running 13.6 by 2 cars @ the local meet. lost to a 13.0 @ 110 LS1 by about 4 cars.
beat a 5.0 running 13.9 by about 5 cars..........so i thought i was running 13.4-13.5
i ran 13.6 in my 01 & barely cracked 102mph with a 2.0X 60ft
