Hey everyone,

Has anyone deleted evap emissions? I’m thinking it’s pretty simple, but is there a false plug or something for the charcoal canister and any other connector to trick the computer to avoid engine lights?

The only emissions the charcoal canister is tied to is the fuel tank to vent fumes, make sure it functions and leave it.
Why are you concerned about it?

Redirects them fumes to the engine. Yes.

Figure it would clean the engine bay up with one less big bulky box and vacuum hose. Everyone delete’s all other emissions, why leave this?

And no, I’d just run a length of hose from the fuel tank vent & not have it routed into the car.

Just wondering

For one thing the canister vents the fuel tank, safely.
Helps contain the fuel in a rollover, I know there's a check valve, I said it helps.
With the Ethanol infused fuel today you don't want the tank open to atmosphere, Ethanol sucks the moisture like a sponge.
The fumes can stink up the place, mostly in a garage or inside the car.
If you want to clean up the dog house a little tuck it onto the frame rail on the other side, at the same level the factory had it only inside the wheel house.

Ahh come on, we’re concerned about spilling a little fuel if god forbid anyone rolls their fox!? A bus gets a ruptured fuel line or something, spills out all 125gal of diesel fuel, that’s a problem, not our 12 gals or whatever.

I’d be concerned about my safety; airbag (singular) working, seatbelts and maybe even a rollcage. Budget permitting.

And I know us muscle car guys ain’t concerned about the environment either. If we are, we better retrofit our EGR valves and smog pumps!

Not here for going back & forth my brother!

Thank you & happy foxing

Just try'n to answer your inquiry, not concerned about what you do to your car.
not going to debate environmental issues with you but I will say don't lump everybody together,

On my 83 I plan on running the gas tank vent line to one of my carbon canisters without attaching a vacuum line to the engine... Not sure if it will work, but I was surprised at the gas fumes in my Garage with the line laying loose in my engine compartment..... Sure can't hurt any.....
