Anyone over use or hear anything about a company called enginetech? Im looking to do a freshening on my 90's motor. Not gonna push alot of power with this motor. Probably some P heads, gt40 intake, exhaust and some other minor bolt ons. Maybe a 50 shot for the track.

Competition Products-Enginetech, Master Rebuild Kit, Ford 302, Std., Std., Std.

Seems kind of cheap for a rebuild kit, so Im questioning its integrity.

Thanks

It appears that kit comes with a flat tappet cam (and is out of stock according to their site) and honstly for not much more, you could have a better setup. Something like this kit, for example would contain better quality parts from a known vendor. And for a little bit more than that, you could have a complete 347 rotating assembly (link). Sure you'd still need gaskets and an oil pump, but I personally just couldn't justify a rebuild for $313, when I could have a rebuild + stroker for $476 more. Ya know?

Well, I do plan on building a 347 in the future... with a blower setup, and that seems like a good price for a kit. So ill will be bookmarking that one.

Unfortunatly I dont have the cash flow for that setup right now. I just really want to freshen up my stock block for now, until the 347 is done, then I can do a straight swap in a weekend. I would like to drive the car while i gather parts for the big motor build.

The FM rebuild kit does look like a better bet and at least I know its decent stuff. I think I may go that route.

Thank you!
