I was looking at some Upper and Lower CA's from a company called Blue Oval Industries. Has anyone ever heard of this company and if so, are they any good. Thanks for any replies.

I ordered my shift knob and e-brake handle from them. The ebrake was scratched and they refunded my purchase no problem. I would say they are good to deal with. Dont know about quality of a part like control arms though. Are they their brand or another name brand? If another name brand they are a good supplier.

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but I was curious if anyone has had an dealings with this company recently?

I was looking at their 75mm TB, which for the price, I don't think is bad:

They have a plenum as well, but it looks very similar to the trick flow, and looks like it'd have too much of an angle in the flow. I'd rather buy a C&L, though, but take a look:

Thoughts?

so maybe someone can chime in on this.

I dealt with Blue Oval once, and it was a LONG time ago.. probably 6 or more years. I ordered some blue headlight bulbs for my old vehicle from them, they only sent me ONE bulb and not the pair I paid for, and was shown on the site. I went back and forth with them for nearly 6 months before I finally gave up and ordered a set from somewhere else.

I've never dealt with another company that just flat out refused to believe that they screwed up. I was even told 3-4 times that they were going to send me the second bulb (that I PAID for in the first place,) and never received it.

Hopefully they're better now a days.

I bought my Pro 5.0 shifter from them a long time ago and before I was on here; had no troubles.

If I do buy anything from them, it'll be that TB.

Anyway, I was checkin out your site, saw you had an FZR 600. I had one, a 92 (like yours, I'm guessing, 91-92). It was my 2nd bike, I loved it.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Yea mine was a '91.. I never really cared for that single headlight in the 91/92's but never got around to doing the front fairing swap. Quick little bike though. Good luck with the TB.

You do know that Professional products are made in China, and are just given an American patened label, correct ? If you didn't know that before, you do now. They are simply a knock-off product, and I have no idea how good the quality will even be on these pieces. As for Blue Oval Industries, I've seen that sight before, but never purchased anything from them.

Yup. You might pay more for the C&L, but it was designed and made here...

I am surprised that Ford would not take legal action against a company that calls itself "Blue Oval Industraies". Seems like brand name infringement to me...
