Ever removed a fuel rail? Help me out.

Anything special I need to watch for? What will the injectors tend to stay with, the rail or will they stay in the manifold? And should the o-rings be oiled a little to help them slip back into their pockets when I put the rail back on?

I'm rigging up a pressure gauge, sending unit, and changing the regulator. My blower plenum is such that I can't get the back bolt out of the regulator to take it off, so the rail has to come off instead. Thanks for anyone's help and sharing expertise

Bleed the fuel rail if you have a shrader valve to release the pressurre on the line. The injectors basiclly just sit in there and will come out of both the rail or the intake once the rail bolts are removed and you start to lift the rail. If the o-rings are recently new and do not show signs of wear I would just put a little oil around them and stick them back in.

Thanks much...it looked straight forward, but you never know when something you don't see can bite you. The injectors only have 5500 miles on them, so I will chance the orings with a drop or two of oil. Thanks for the help.
