ever seen a stock 03-04 cobra run low 12s? i know its been done

I'd really hope mine would, but Im not that great of a driver YET, but Im pretty good.
WEnt to the track last night, man this car looks good in the parking lot. Maybe someday ill take her out on the track.

Doesnt appear that your radar detector works too good.

I've only witnessed a couple of "Bone Stock" 03/04 Cobra runs and none of them were in the low, or even mid 12's for that matter. It has been done though, I think Evan Smith managed a 12.4 out of a stock '03.

I had already installed my CAI/X-pipe/CB before my car ever made it to the track... so I never had a chance to run mine stock.

For normal driving, no.
For racing with IRS you do need to learn how to launch and not get a bunch of wheelhop. I got to say though once it's hooked up the traction seems very good.
:stupid: Never had mine to the track but I imagine I would run anywhere from high 12's to low 13's. Still learning how to drive this animal to get the most out of it. :(

I have a problem of bogging when I launch. I see 1.91-1.98 60' on GS D3's @ 25psi, I dump @2500rpms It hooks and boggs. Should I try a higher launch? I just know I'm going to break something if I do.
I am running 12.31 @112MPH now with mods in sig.

ahhh

no not low 12s...12.5 is the best I have ever seen

12.76 was my best and then 12.56 with DRs

I ran 11.70 with chip and pulley 435hp

now i have 471hp and have only run 11.78 and only once since the newest mods and tune....but every other time i have bogged it or spun the tires resulting in a 11.9-12.0 and now the girl in the booth makes fun of me... she says "behaving yourself i see" when she knows im trying to run 11s and allowed to run in the 11s ahhhhhhhh

she was the one who wrote this on my time slip before the NHRA changed the rules for street legal

Why are you dumping the clutch? Most guys are SLIPPING the clutch, and this seems to be the best way to avoid breaking something, while still being able to get some nice 60' times. I pulled a 1.8x 60' time on Nitto drag radials, slipping the clutch from 2500, NO wheelhop!
