SLP definitely sounds the most demonic. I have sound clips on my website. Thats exactly what I was looking for, satanic evil sound. I found it from SLP, and I had tried flowmaster before. Just didnt cut it.

I havent heard the SLP cat back but I dont like the way the tips look. I always hear mustangs in my town that I think sound better than mine. I can't really get a full feel for how my car sounds though, while I'm driving it. I wish I could catch up with some of these guys and find out what exhaust they are running. I want to dump my x-pipe and go with a Mac LT setup with a BBK off raod H-pipe, and keep my flows. You think that will be a lot louder because I wont have cats or will it not make that much of a difference?

I heard the SLP setup withan O/R H-pipe and it sounded pretty wicked. If you didn't actually see that the car was a new car you might think you were listening to an old big block v8.
I personally Like my own setup, sig below. It's louder than most cars on the street and has very distinctive tone to it. Spintech mufflers have an evil sound bythemselves. I've had alot of cars with different exhausts and this one is has gotten more compliments at gas stations than any I've ever had.

I think the SLP's and the Packs both sound aweful

O/R H and Magnaflows for me

slp loudmouth, and flow master american thunder, and magna packs seem to be the loudest catbacks....but like others said ur not gonna get the sound ur looking for until u go with an offroad h or x pipe...

I put a new clutch and trani in the 5.0 LX recently and decided I should take it for a quick ride with no exhaust whatsoever. Aaawww-yeah! It sounded like a top fuel dragster lol.

i have an o/r h pipe w/ 2 chamber flows. i've been told [several times] it sounds like a tiger roaring..
indeed, it does :x

when i think of a mean sounding exhaust i picture a ls1. thats MEAN. a stang has a 'weaker' tone in my opinion. the meanest sounding exhaust ive heard on a stang was bbk longtubes, short o/r hpipe and 1 chamber flowmasters dumped before the axles. ive also heard a 95 cobra with the same combo except a short xpipe that thing sounds pissed off but is cammed and worked up heavily tho too.

I have a flowtech o/r H and american thunder and it's pretty loud. It sounds pissed off but I wish I would have gotten an o/r X like a dr. gas. I kind of like the magnapacks on the low end (super deep sound) but at higher rpms it sounds like a sloppy POS redneck mobile going down the highway with confederate flags flying. No offense if anyone actually has one of these. That's why I bought flows. If you're looking to wake the dead get 1 chamber flowmasters. It's an all out drag muffler and they're fairly cheap. Try ebay. I might end up putting these on for fun sometime. Flowmaster American Thunder is IMHO the best bang for the buck. I got my o/r H and flows for right around $470 with tax, shipped to the shop where i picked them up and then i installed them myself in about 2.5 - 3 hrs.

If you want a unique sound thats loud as hell, and not just loud but sounds like Satan himself is coming for you.. Get an off road x pipe (any brand) and pair them up with some Dynomax bullet race mufflers. People will run for cover.

I just got pulled over tonight for my exhaust being too loud. Basically the cop wanted to waste my time and his, because he didnt cite me for anything. I have some exhaust clip sounds at my website. if you want to hear SLP.

Sucks that they pull over cars with loud exhausts, but a harley that you can hear from 3 cities away is left alone.
