So I have a mostly stock 94 gt. The cats are going on it and I'm thinking of doing an off road x pipe and shorty header, on a budget. Summit racing sells a shorty header for 100$ and an x -pipe for 165$. Has anybody heard anything good or bad about them.

Grey5.0Beast just put a set of summit chrome/stainless headers on his car and he said the are great for the money. I don't have personal experience withe them, but they look quality.

I don't know what gaskets they come with but you might want to opt for some quality ones... For that cheap I can't imagine they would be that great.

i also heard that you loose alot of low end torque without the cats? Is this true. The car I'm putting it on is mostly stock so it doesn't have much of the line the way it is. the reason that I want to go with the cat less is because it cost alot less, but i don't want to have a complete dog on my hands. Thanks of the replies so far
