I wanna put in an exhaust on my car. 96 GT with 70000 miles. Its a daily driver and I am not planning on racing. Just looking for Great sound and a little more performance. What do you guys thing is a good way to go as far as the exhaust. Partshopper.com has a great deal on this Magnaflow. Including the rebate and free shipping I am looking at about $390. What do you think?

if you're looking for mainly the sound, flowmasters make it sound like a muscle car Magnaflow IMO sounds more like a sports car than a muscle car, just depends on your tastes though.

390 is a bit high. Try calling places because they can't advertise low magnaflow prices.

I have the flowmasters with MAC O/R H-pipe and I love it sounds like a muscle car, but I would trade in my flows anyday for Borla's. I've heard them they sound mean and they perform better than everything else.

Most pipe manufacturers make the pipes from a mold and then modify them to fit a particular car. Bassani designs their pipes specifically for each model of car, which is why they're usually the best fit, and usually a bit more expensive. I'm gonna go with the Bassani X pipes as soon as I get the cash.

Bassani's website has aluminized cat backs for $360 - not too bad for excellent fit and great sound.
