exhaust condensation

Hey all, I got my mustang running and start it up and take it around the block once or twice a week now. When I start it it spits water out the exhaust for a minute or two as it warms up. Is this normal or inicitave of a problem with anything? Its a 70 351C 2v. Headman headers to dual Magnaflow to stock style turn down tips. Thanks...

It's normal. As long as it's just drips, and don't have coolant in it.

Water is a combustion byproduct. Until the exhaust gets hot enough to evaporate it, it condenses on it instead. A long as none of it coming from your cooling system, don't worry about it.

Yep, normal. Mix fuel (in this case, gasoline, C8H18) + oxygen and get CO2 (carbon dioxide) and water (H2O) and heat. In a less ideal world with incomplete combustion, we also make carbon monixide, nitrous oxides and a few other byproducts.

It's normal and mine wets the floor pretty good when I first start it up after it's been sitting for a while.
