Exhaust cut out

has anyone gone the route of cut outs instead of a full exhaust?
does it require a tune?
I was thinking of the one by qtp that is electronic.

No it will not require a tune.

NO exhaust on 05 and above will require a tune .... UNLESS you run an O/R pipe youll have to shut off the rear o2 sensors via a Handheld tuner or MIL elims.
