Does an exhaust system from a Fox body fit on a classic? I can pick up a set of stainless tail pipes from an LX for cheap and was curious how well they would fit.
it fits, i was running dynomax stainless LX pipes for a long time, but they were only 2 1/4" now i must upgrade to 3" and i know thats gonna be tricky to fit under a 65. all you have to do is cut off the Fox body hangers and use some regular old school hangers/clamps. once i got it positioned, i welded the hangers to the pipes and removed the clamps. use offset inlet/center outlet mufflers and it will make clearing the leaf spring much easier. it looks really good so i hope i can get the LX 3" pipes to fit over the axle.
