my friend has a 99 v6 stang and it sounds like it has an exhaust leak but you can only hear it when you are driving it. if your sitting still you cant hear the tick whether you are at idle or rev it up. are the v6's like the v8's where only one of the collectors have a gasket or does both of them? i also read something that said the egr tube can crack and make a tick sound. could it be the egr tube? sorry for the long thread and thanks for your guys help.
