I recommend going with 18" long tips. I got 12" long ones and you can see where the pipes go from 2.5" to 3". With 18" long tips, the transition will be hidden, giving you a cleaner look.myponyrocks said:I wanted to go 3 inch from the mufflers back but it wouldnt fit, so I'm going 2 1/2 all the way with 8" long 3" tips.. I hope it wakes up the exhuast some.... not to hijack the thread but his question was answered, so do you think 250 bucks or so is worth the pipes and labor? Will it wake up the sound a bit more?

320 bucks!! You could have pretty much got an entire cat back with mandrel bent pipes for thatSeraphitia102 said:$50 a muffler actually sounds good to me. I paid $240 for 2 flowmaster 40's with welding it to my current H-pipe. Then I had to pay $80 for my 3.5 inch tips with welding.

If the 2.5s at 250 is reasonable, I'll just get a 3" cat back and lose my flow 40s![]()
Oh and my flow 40's were 120 installed, then again I used the whole "well I just go back from the middle east schpeel"
