exhaust preferences?

anyone have any opinions on exhaust?


i have a 99 gt ...

i was thinking about a bassani cat-back with a bbk x-pipe no cats.

anyone have any thing against that idea?

or maybe some better ideas? i'm open to suggestion.

well if your looking for a pretty deep gurgly loud exhaust setup then I would suggest borla stingers with an slp xpipe. Ill have a clip up tomorrow of mine. I would have had it up today but my car was in teh shop getting new tires put on and a front end alignment with a oil change. So that took all day then when i got it back i had to wash it quickly to let my bro take it to homecoming.

I thought i would be a nice bro and let him take it. And cause he will be joining the mustang family before long he is getting a 07 gt which im pretty excited for cause he wants to put me as the head of the modifying department on his car.

i have JBA headers, SLP catted X pipe, and Magnaflow cat-back. all are good pieces.

O/R x pipe and Borla Stingers or Bassani. personal fav exhaust. my setup is a Bassani O/R X and weld in Spintechs. not my fav, but it sounds really good above 3kRPM. really poppy and raspy too.

I still love the sound of Flowmasters 40's on any stang,weither it is a 5.0,or 4.6.I think they were designed for the stang!!

i think you should stay away from BBK. get either bassani or slp x-pipe with your choice of either borla stinger or bassani catback.
