Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions on getting stripped header stud nuts off were the header bolts to the h-pipe, two of them are striped and I need to get them out. Thanks for the help guys...
Just a thought havnt done this but maybe you can unbolt both headers off at the heads and unbolt the the mufflers off at the H Pipe drop it down and work from there, (cut, drill, replace, ETC).
Try to get a cutoff wheel in between flanges and cut it off. I had the same problem when I was taking off my stock headers, so I just cut the flanges of the headers off, I know that you probably don't want to do that though. Another idea, if you have access to a 2" air ginder, you could try to grind the nut all the way down to nothing.
Thanks for your help guys, I'm probably just gonna cut the stud then drill the rest of it out at the header and either re-tap it or just run a bolt through there. I dont wanna try unbolting the header but that wouldnt be a bad idea if the car was on a lift. Thanks again guys
