Hey guys i know this question has been asked many times but i think mine is different.

i wanna louder exhaust that has more "growl/raspyness" to it. I like the sound of flowmaster but have heard good things about MAC. how does it sounds. Right now my setup is MAC longtubes with Mac prochamber, and magnaflow. so really my question is which would you choose

- Flowmaster
- MAC
- Borla
- Dynomax
or if you know of anyother companys with a nice sound post up which it is and maybe a sound clip.

also post up some sound clips with your exhaust please.

I used to have stock headers, mac prochamber, and magnaflows but it didn't have enough tone, it was too smooth. I switched to a magnaflow x(emissions) and stainless mac mufflers. Its sounds good now, not too loud and has a good tone. I wanted to go with Bassani stainless mufflers but I couldn't find them. If I could get them I would go with bassani, then spintech stainless, then the macs.

Cool, I've had quite a few different exhaust set ups on my car and I've ended up liking magnaflows the best. Just an FYI the magnaflow tail pipes route under the gas tank more, so incredibly wide tires will fit. I have 255s on my car and there is a good 5 inches between the tires and tail pipes.

Another vote for Pypes Violators, here. Raspy, no drone, volume is correctly proportionate to throttle input (can be sedate and civil but rumbly in normal driving, but ROAR at WOT), and they're priced VERY nicely (got my pair for $80 at WFC9).

The only two things from Dynomax I'd recommend in the way of mufflers would either be the #17676 same-side inlet/outlet mufflers (for a side-exit exhaust) or their Ultra-Flow series muffs; their Race Magnum Bullets are just overpriced glasspacks, really, and their Super Turbos are better suited for upgrading cars that you usually DON'T want to become loud, such as a Crown Vic or Town Car.

Magnaflows are nice - I LOVE the sound my buddy's '03 Mach 1 gives with 'em - but they seem a lot to me like overpriced Violators as far as design and sound.

Spintechs sound killer, too, but I dunno about drone issues, and they're outrageously expensive.
