Exhaust questions

Ok guys I'm buying a used MAC off road H-pipe for my car, which right now has stock exhaust. The H-pipe is 2.5 inch.

As far as I know, our stock exhaust is 2.25 right? Would I have any problems installing this H-pipe?

I plan on installing a flowmaster flowtubes, 40 series and tailpipes soon after, should I just wait until I have all the pieces to do this?

i'm pretty sure you can bolt on the h-pipe to your stock exhaust, i'm planning on doing this in a few weeks, and for christmas, get a flowmaster cat-back. If you get it done, post it and tell us how it went, i'd like to know how it went.

Bolts right up and yes our stock exhaust is 2.25 and all aftermarket midpipes are 2.50 no mods need to be done.

Tailpipes? Who needs tailpipes? 5.0 + Un-catted H-pipe + dumped mufflers = beauty to your ears. Your stang will sound so good, once you get used to it, you will never be able to go back to tailpipes. However, that set up with tailpipes will sound good to.

stick with the pipes, otherwise the noise is coming from right under you.

Thanks for the response guys, I really appreciate them all.

Right now I'm not really considering turndowns, I had a friend who had those and they constantly made his car dusty and dirty, plus I just can't get used to seeing my car without tailpipes. Thanks for the suggestions though.
