I just bought a full exhaust from a guy on corral.
It consists of Hooker Super Comp. shorty headers, Dr. Gas x-pipe and spintech mufflers.

I already ordered header gaskets and bolts online but now I'm afraid they might not fit from what I've read in some posts.
I got these headers bolts from 50resto http://secure.50resto.com/product1.cfm?SID=1&Product_ID=2717&Category_ID=788 and these Ford Racing gaskets http://secure.50resto.com/product1.cfm?SID=1&Product_ID=1835&Category_ID=788

Are headers gaskets from certain companies compatible with different headers?

How about the bolts? I read that because of the thicker flange normal bolts won't work.

Also, what other hardware do I need to look into getting?
thanks
Patrick

What about the bolts?
Do you know if they'll work length wise?

Also, why can't I find a gasket for the header/x-pipe conjunction?
I only found one for 94 up stangs.

The bolts will work.. That is dependant on your heads.. As for the midpipe donuts, are the heads ball or 3-bolt flange?

They're definitely not 3 bolt.

Actually they are 2 bolt.

The bolts will probably (95% sure) work. And the collectors dont use a gaskets, there just a ball and cup, just tighten them up.

Yeah found some stuff on the header-to-midpipe gasket.

It's only on 96 and up cars.
Some people have squeezed gaskets in thought because of a constant leak.

I'll just see how it goes.

Thanks
Patrick

PS, and the header gaskets should work right?

Well I've been reading some companies' sites and they always claim the gaskets are "precision cut for our headers".

So I figured there might be a small difference.
If not, everything is cool.

Can't wait til I install that bad boy!
