Hello. I just recently acquired a 95 gt with unknown equal length shorty headers and straight pipe exhaust no crossover piper or anything just straight from the headers to the tailpipes. I like the sound but I really don't want to be hasseled by cops as the previous owner was already pulled over once for loud exhaust. I still want loud exhaust and I'm going to be putting muffler's on and maybe a set of high flow cats since I live in CA. I found a set of Flowmaster Super 44's on craigslist Flowmasters super 44 and was wondering if they would work well with the straight pipe I have now and how much would a muffler shop charge to have them welded in and installed?
Thanks

depends on the size of your piping. i would figure out what headers you have and buy the proper exhuast. have any pics of it? we might be able to identify them.

Does anybody know if this fox body setup will fit on my 95gt? 87-93 Mustang Mac prochamber H pipe and flowmasters
Thanks

Flowbastards are junk, and they don't last long. Plus the cops will really hang you out for not having tail pipes. Magnaflows and Dynomax Ultraflows give you a good sound, and aren't so annoying the cops chase you down. Someone offered to sell you a set of Magnaflows, I'd take him up on it. It's a quality stainless muffler, and it will outlast the car. Then I would look into getting another h-pipe to replace the one that's been hacked up.
